Recovered, fired boreman fuse,with the double wrench slots, shows signs of distortion from being fired. Nice condition and shows well. Has not been cleaned and I cannot make out any real markings. Recovery unknown.

ART02 U. S. 3" SHENKL COMBINATION FUSE ADAPTER

This is a documented Gettysburg find, once part of the John Plank Geiselman Museum Collection.Recovered from the fields of Gettysburg shortly after the battle, this fired schenkl fuse,an early version, zinc combination time fuse adapter for the 3' Schenkl percussion shell.Measures 2 7/8 long and @1 1/2 wide at the head. You can see the numerials and all 20 of the time interval holes in the top. Wonderfull fired condition with a light dirt covering. This comes to you with the Horse Soldiers certification letter documenting the relic.
