Pl01- U. S. Belt Plate/Part Leather


Very good condition belt plate with about 10' of the leather belt remaining. Leather portion is quite stiff but not brittle and is firmly mounted to the studs on the belt plate. Belt plate is in fine condition showing a good patina and a few nicks. Back has full lead and comes with the two studs and hook in solid condition.A great early excavated piece ,that you rarely see anymore. Recovery unknown, from Lawerence Christopher years ago,who got from Little John and early collector in the south.
